counselor that works to truly understand you,
helping you to find your path.

Are you wanting to get out of a stuck pattern?  Tired of feeling lost?  Do you feel a gap between what you want and what you end up doing; feeling held back from being what you could be in life as a spouse/partner, as a parent, in your job, or in your relationships?  Overwhelmed with depression, anxiety, loneliness, frustration, anger, sadness, or grief?  Then I hope you will reach out and schedule that first counseling appointment.

I enjoy working with a wide range of clients and truly look forward to finding what can help someone gain a greater sense of clarity.  I believe resiliency is always waiting to be tapped!  You can begin with the initial step by contacting me (email or phone call) and we can discuss whether I can be of help to you.

Some clients prefer to utilize private pay for their appointments; while others utilize insurance.  If you are planning to use insurance, be sure to first check with your insurance company that I am listed as a provider.  Also know your specific mental health benefits, including any costs for you, such as deductible or copay, and if you need prior authorization before you begin any counseling.

Then once we have had a chance to talk briefly on the phone and I have accepted you as a new client; you will be asked to register with my office system (an encrypted, password protected, secure website).  The link to register on this website is below:

When you come to your first counseling appointment, there will be a clipboard up by the receptionist's window with the last of the paperwork (mostly signature pages consenting to treatment and confidentiality, plus a symptom checklist) that only takes about 5 minutes to complete.  If you are using insurance, please remember to bring your insurance card, so that I can take a copy of it.

Payments and copays are expected at the time the service is provided.

The initial appointment cost is $180 and each session after that is $165.  If you pay privately (which some clients prefer since it provides the greatest amount of privacy), there is a discounted rate for not needing to file through insurance and immediate payment.
Payment Methods:
* Cash
* Major Credit Cards
(American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa)
* Health Savings Account (HSA)
Common Insurance Used:
BlueCross and BlueShield
Meritan Health

(Always verify health insurance coverage before your first appointment)

As you think of setting up your first appointment, it may help to think of this quote:

What lies behind you and what lies in front of you,
             pales in comparison to what lies inside of you.
